Mighty Heron Charters Point Pleasant

Mighty Heron Charters Point Pleasant specializes in striped bass, sea bass and porgy trips out of Manasquan Inlet. The boat, a 25 foot Steigercraft Miami DV powered by twin Yamaha 250 hp outboards, is located at the marina on the Manasquan River in Brick at the foot of the route 70 bridge to Brielle and across route 70 from the Crystal Point Yacht Club in Point Pleasant. We only run one trip per per day during October and November. The transit time from the marina to Manasquan Inlet (usually about 10 -15 minutes) is not counted as part of your trip. Depending on the lenght of the trip, Striped Bass trips can range as far north as Shrewsbury Rocks and as far South as Island Beach State Park. Trips to to Raritan Bay are available for an additional fuel surcharge. Sea Bass trips will range as far as the Shark River and Axel Carlson reefs.

We only run one trip a day during the Autumn season. We prefer an earlier start time (usually about 1/2 hour before sunrise) but a start time as late as 10:00 am is possible. Scheduled trips are only run Thursday - Sunday. Tuesday and Wednesday trips are possible, in consultation with the Captain.
